G.O.D. & Archagathus - Split 7" (2010)
G.O.D. is a goregrind band from Peterborough / Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and Archagathus is a mincecore band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Some of the best Canadian recent grind bands. The split was released on Primeval Sounds, which is the label of the ex-bass player from G.O.D.

Paucities - Four Quick Minces (2011)
Paucities is a mincecore band from Chicago, Illinois, USA. They play straight-ahead, no bullshit, quirky mincing inspired by the likes of Agathocles, Rot or Unholy Gave and display high similarities to their peers; Archagathus, Violent Gorge, Lt. Dan, Pizzahifive, Misanthropic Noise, Powercup, Disleksick, Agitate, Faction Disaster, etc. Members also play in the fastcore band, Sick/Tired as well as harsh noise / experimental acts Winters in Osaka and Urine Cop. You can listen to more of their minces on the bandcamp. The tape was released by Pickle Dick Records who sadly does not have a page but is releasing some killer stuff as of late.

Sakatat - Bir Devrin Sonu (2012)
Sakatat is a grindcore / mincecore band from Ankara / Istanbul, Turkey. They play straight-ahead, aggressive, completely oldschool and somewhat frantic mincing grindcore with main influence being Agathocles, Rot, Dahmer, Unholy Grave, Denak, Abortion, Carcass Grinder, etc. All their lyrics are in Turkish, which I am not fluent in, but in an interview Sakatat had said they consider themselves a political band - presumably in the same style done so by their influences.
Not really a whole lot else to say but they are some fantastically pulverizing newer mince done right from a country with hardly any grind scene and you probably already know them if you like this sort of stuff. Bir Devrin Sonu is the first full-length CD of the band - although short enough to be a demo - and was released on CD / LP by Everydayhate from Poland and Bring Of Gore from Belgium.

Archagathus - Mincecore Fever (7'' Anthology 2005-2010) (2010)
Archagathus is a mincecore band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They sound exactly like Agathocles and Rot, to the finest detail; simple and catchy but heavy songs with two riffs maximum, blast beats, d-beats, polka beats, duel-vocal trade offs (one being a pitch-shifter) and made by socio-politically conscious and lovable punx. The only difference between Agathocles and Rot is that Archagathus have overly stupid yet amazing song titles that mostly have a ridiculous adjective and noun combination - like Untrustworthy Physician or Horrible Person, for example - and really hilarious lyrics to go with them. It's like mincing mad libs, almost.
Members of Archagathus also currently play in Violent Gorge, Skeleton, Loutish, Under Pressure, Head Hits Concrete, Wolbachia, Cetascean, Bachelor Weekend and used to play in Kursk. Dan runs Don't Fear The Night Tapes and Joe runs Aggressive Valley Tapes, both of which are fantastic labels / distros. Mincecore Forever compiles all of the split 7" EPs prior to 2010 and was released by the American, Haunted Hotel Records.

Cut Your Throat - Cut Your Throat (2006)
Cut Your Throat is a grindcore / mincecore band from Thessalonica, Greece. Formed in 2003, the band plays straight-ahead, crushing, aggressive and no bullshit mincing grind with plenty of crust / hardcore influence. Main influences and musical comparisons include Agathocles, Rot, Unholy Grave, Dahmer, Carcass Grinder, Mesrine, Denak, Archagathus, Sakatat, etc. One of the few mincing Greek bands, to my knowledge and they play the genre exceptionally well. Here is the first full-length record, which was self-released by the band themselves in 2006 and was not long ago made available for free download on their official website.

Obliteração - Do Nada Ao Nada (2011)
Obliteração is a grindcore / mincecore three-piece band from Maringá, Brazil. Formed in 2011, the band plays straight-ahead, no bullshit oldschool aggressive mincing grindcore. Major influences and musical comparisons would be the noises of Agathocles, Unholy Grave, Rot, Dahmer, Denak, Subcut, Plague Rages and a handful of classic crust punk. Even though they're still fairly new, it's obvious they're going to be an important and widely known band in the scene pretty soon, so definitely keep your eye out for them. Do Nada Ao Nada is the very first release of the band; a demo CD-R released by Contra-Mão Records from Brazil, Noise Mesmo Records from Brazil and Human Discount Records from Italy.

Agathocles & RedSK - Split Tape (2012)
Agathocles need no introduction and RedSK is a one-man power electronics act - although doing more noisecore on this release - from Detroit, Michigan, USA. AGX deliver no surprises but almost entirely new songs and a noisy rehearsal-like feel to the recording on their side. RedSK and friends who collaborate on their side are doing straight-ahead oldschool sloppy grindcore / noisecore but with a nice layering of power electronics. The split was released by the American, Trashfuck Records, who is operated by Patrick of RedSK.

Powercup & Pizza Hi-Five - Split 10" (2012)
Powercup is from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and Pizza Hi-Five is from Lima, Ohio, USA. Both bands play extremely crushing grindcore / mincecore and deliver an overly intensive, devastating, crusty, goofy and heavy face-pummeling grinding and mincing assault. Little to no sections on this record are in the slightest mellow or even mid-tempo; just non-stop intense blasting, d-beating and cartoon-like vocals, which is kept interesting by the slight influence of powerviolence-style song writing. Seriously phenomenal split with some of the greatest bands from the relatively recent pool of 'mince revival' in this vein. This split was co-released by a handful of great labels that discogs can tell you about here.

Sore Throat, Nausea & Headache Compilation #2 (2011)
The fantastic grindcore webzine, Sore Throat, Nausea & Headache, put out the second installment of their international compilation in 2011. It features tons more of the noisiest, most destructive and intensive bands in the scene today, and contains 64 tracks of pure ear-destruction. This is personally one of the best compilations I've heard in a little bit so please check it out and hopefully you discover some new noise, because there is no better way to do that than with a good old comp! And a bonus art history fact; the cover used is a very symbolic painting entitled 'Bruegel the Misanthrope' done by the infamous Dutch painter, Pieter Bruegel.

Grimace & Shooting Spree - Westcoast Greasy Roadtrip 2012
Grimace are a quirky mincecore band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Shooting Spree is a vicious grindcore / powerviolence band Squamish, B.C., Canada. Grimace silly, ridiculous, heavy, catchy, slightly fastcore-influenced and yes, take their name from that horrible fat purple hairy idiot who poses naked for mcmurder. On the other end of the spectrum, Shooting Spree take an absolutely no mid-paced shit approach and just gets straight to ripping your head off only to turn into a nutritious smoothie later on. Shooting Spree is, in my view, one of the most intensive grind bands in Canada at the moment.
Anyway, this will be the second ever tour experience for Grimace and the first ever tour experience for Shooting Spree, so if you have any sort of 'grind logic' you will be at some these shows have loads of fun, right!? Seriously, I cannot even express how crucial it is to attend these shows and support real fucking DIY no bullshit grind if you can. Also, please help with booking if you're able to by contacting either bands at their respective pages that I liked above. Dates obviously subject to some change and you can find the fartbook event page thing for the tour over HERE.

Couple Skate - Casual Encounters (2011)
Couple Skate was a mincegore band from Delaware, Ohio, USA. They highly resemble the stylings of classic mince, such as Dahmer, Abortion, Carcass Grinder or Denak, as well as newer bands like Archagathus or SMG. But unlike most mince, they've added a vomitous helping of old-school crusty goregrind; taking mainly after classics like Dead Infection or Regurgitate. Amazing combination between these two sub-sub-genres and these dudes do it exceptionally well. Highly addictive, catchy and humorous. Here is another one of their self-released EPs from 2011 and here's a slightly disturbing fact about this release; all the song titles were taken from real titles of craigslist posts in the casual encounters section.

Agathocles - 20 Songs 7'' EP (2012)
Agathocles needs NO introduction. The 20 songs EP doesn't really have any surprises, it's the same old AXG but it's astounding to see that the guys can still churn out brand new material in 2012 and have it sound as pulverizing, heavy and catchy as they always have. Proof that AXG will never die! The EP was self-released by the band and there are two different pressings of it (purple, seen above, and red).

Slaughtergrave - Entire Discography
Slaughtergrave are mincecore / noisecore band from Thessaloniki, Greece. Formed in 2001, they're a very authentic old-school sounding band, paying homage to and pulling most musical and thematic influences from all historically notable genres that led up to the formation of grind (hardcore, d-beat, crust, even some crossover thrash) and obviously, most of the early grind sub-sub-genres themselves (crustgrind, noisecore, mincecore, goregrind). So, there's definitely something for everyone in this band - provided you're into or don't mind very fuzzy and noisy lo-fi recordings.
Slaughtergrave is not really a "serious political band" per se - they have quite a bit of healthy nonsensical goofiness going on as well - but they do make a point of opposing fascism, racisim, homophobia, nationalism, animal cruelty, etc. They do everything DIY and do not accept any money for their noise, only trades. Anyway, check Slaughtergrave out if you've never heard, they are loads of fun!
