D-Clone - Creation And Distroy (2012)

D-Clone is a crasher crust / noisy d-beat band from Japan. Highly comparable to the likes of Japanese bands like Gloom, Framtid and most of all, Disclose. Extremely well done, D-Clone somehow magically is able to sound noisy as fuck while still maintaining a sense of coherence and audibility on this recording. Here's a CD-rip of their first full-length.

Oniku - Bokujou (2012)

Oniku is a one-man goregrind band from Tokyo, Japan. Formed in 2006, Oniku plays absolutely crushing and straight-ahead old-school goregrinding; taking major influence from Carcass, Regurgitate, Dead Infection as well as newer bands like Autophagia or Dysmenorrheic Hemorrhage. Also, a huge amount of crust and d-beat / hardcore influence prevalent within the noise. Despite this almost "cute" looking cover, Oniku is definitely one of the best newer goregrind bands going and are certainly one to keep an eye out for; delivering a full blast of disgusting, relentless and vomitous chaotic intensity. Bokujou is the first full-length of that band and was self-released on CD-R in 2012.

Zyanose - Insane Noise Raid (2012)

Zyanose is a crasher crust band from Tokyo, Japan and was formed in 2002. They're extremely noisy and are inspired by bands like Confuse, Gai, Gloom, etc. Members also play in Defector and fill-in for various other noisy bands in the konton crasher scene. Insane Noise Raid is the first and long-awaited Zyanose full-length CD. Please do not be fooled by the cover, because you might bleed to death out of your ears after putting this on.

Sete Star Sept - U.S.A. West Coast Mini-Tour 2012

Sete Star Sept is an absolutely fucking devastating grindcore two-peiece from Tokyo, Japan. Their lineup consists of the ex-drummer from The Endless Blockade (he used to live here in Toronto) and an intensely pissed the fuck off, denim-clad female guitarist / vocalist, whose name I do not know, but could probably strangle you to death, if you were to upset her in the slightest. Anyway, they're very comparable to most other notable Japanese grindcore or 'japgrind' - such as Senseless Apocalypse, Realized, Damage Digital, Swarrrm or even Discordance Axis from the states. However, Sete Star Sept has a slightly nosier, more unique / experimental and genuinely more livid sound to that of their Japanese grinding peers, and have become a favorite of the entire Japanese scene for me and many others, ever since they first graced North American soil on their Spring / Summer tour in 2011.
