Hooker Spit Windex is a mincecore from Dayton, Ohio, USA and Pizza Hi-Five is a mincecore band from Lima, Ohio, USA. Both bands deliver in overly crusty, goofy and heavy face-pummeling grind assault. Very few sections on this record are even mid-tempo; just non-stop intense blasting, d-beating and cartoon-like vocals, which is kept interesting by the slight influence of powerviolence-style song writing. The split was released as a 7" and later, cassette tape, by both Team Human Records and Feelgoodgrind Tapes.
Hyperemesis is one-man pathological goregrind project from Vancouver, B.C., Canada and Infester is a one-man pathological goregrind band from Arkansas, USA. Both bands can undoubtedly be classified as being in the old-school vein of the genre, taking heavy influence from Carcass, Dead Infection, Regurgitate, Last Days Of Humanity - although both with the use of a drum machine - and laden with themes pulled from medical / forensic / pathological textbooks.
Hyperemesis is about as disgustingly pathological, crusty and noisy as it gets, and are also extremely reminiscent of newer bands Autophagia, Lymphatic Phlegm and even almighty Warsore. Infester is a far more traditional goregrind band, replicating the styles of classic pathological goregrind to the finest details; a well executed mix of traditional crusty grindcore and with a nice subtle dose of old-school death metal in the background. The split CD-R was released in 2010 by the American, Regurgitated Stoma Stew Productions.

Hipermenorrea is a pathological goregrind band from Zamora, Michoacan De Ocampo, Mexico. They play goregrind the old-school way and are reminiscent of bands like Dead Infection, General Surgery, Necrony, Pathologist, Regurgitate, etc. This is their first full-length CD and it was released by the Mexican Alarma Records. Copies are probably still available.
Hydropneumothorax is a one-man pathological goregrind band from Ireland. The sound in the style of the old-school days of the goregrind genre, similar to bands like Dead Infection, Haemorrhage, Pathologist or Regurgitate but with a drum machine. This EP was released for free digital download by both Tornflesh Records.
Hydropneumothorax is a one-man pathological goregrind band from Ireland and Surgical Infection is a one-man pathological goregrind band from Utrecht, The Netherlands. Both bands play in the style of the old-school days of the goregrind genre, similar to bands like Dead Infection, Haemorrhage, Pathologist, Regurgitate, etc. This split was released for free digital download by both Tornflesh Records and Dis-Organ-Ized Net Label.
Soy is a 3-piece fastcore / powerviolence from Victoria, B.C., Canada. The band originally formed in 1996, broke up in 1997, but have now reunited in 2011 for gigs and some new recordings. They're sound is like a more grinding version of classic goofy and quirky powerviolence / fastcore, such as Capitalist Casualties, Charles Bronson, Spazz, etc. Threelayer EP is the first new recording from the band since they got back together.

Surgical Infection is a one-man pathological goregrind band from Utrecht, The Netherlands and Leptospirosis is a two-man pathological goregrind band from Helsinki, Finland. Both bands play in the style of the old-school days of the goregrind genre, similar to bands like Dead Infection, Haemorrhage, Pathologist, Regurgitate, etc. This split was released for free digital download by Tornflesh Records.
Surgical Infection is a one-man pathological goregrind band from Utrecht, The Netherlands. The sound is the old-school days of the genre - although with a drum machine - similar to bands like Dead Infection, Haemorrhage, Pathologist, Regurgitate, etc. Justin, the Dutch grinder behind this project, also plays in Gore Obsessed and Razor Sharp Daggers. Confession Of A Surgical Madman is their first full-length and was released for free digital download by both Tornflesh Records and Dis-Organ-Ized Net Label.
Human Discount is a crustcore / crustgrind band from Penza, Russia. They mostly compare musically to bands like Axiom, Disrupt, State Of Fear, Consume, Nuclear Death Terror, etc. Also mixed in are some d-beat and grindcore influences. Very much looking forward to hearing more from this band. Here's their first demo; a live recording of one of their local gigs!

This will be a very special night where we pay tribute to our friend Michal Majewski and the, would be, 10 year anniversary of Oshawa grindcore enthusiasts F.A.T.O.!
F.A.T.O. - The 3 remaining members will play a set full of new and old material, from the Welcome to Seaworld demo to some of the last songs ever written by the band. Don't miss the opportunity to remember this notorious Oshawa band and see these songs performed live for the first time in years! RIP Michal. ♥
HARD CHARGER - An unrelenting d-beat machine from Halifax! Heavy, angry, catchy as fuck. Crust 'n roll!
THE VANISHING ACT - This band from Ottawa takes the old school grindcore and death metal sound of bands such as Repulsion, Autopsy and Impetigo and mixes in dark hardcore melodies with flooring results! Their stage presence puts most bands to shame. Don't miss it!
OROKU SAKI NIGHTMARE - Brand new drums and bass powerviolence from PTBO. Stripped down, no bullshit, PV intensity!
10 PM - $5
59 King St. E., Oshawa, ON
Swamp Ass is a noisegrind band from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. These guys combine old-school noisecore, like the days of Sore Throat and Seven Minutes of Nausea, with some harsh fucking power electronics. Total DIY, total fun, totally looking forward to more from this band and you should be as well. Shitgate Sessions, Vol. 1 is the first release ever from the band and I think it's an internet release only.
Exogorth is a mincegrind band from Seattle, Washington. They write almost exclusively about sci-fi, weed and Star Wars and as such, took their name from some weird shark / whale Star Wars creature who I've never even heard of up until now. Both musically and lyrically, Exogorth is definitely identifiable as belonging to the recent American mince contingent of bands, such as Lt. Dan, Pizza Hi-Five, Misanthropic Noise, Agitate, etc. This first CD-R demo of the band is pretty spastic, hyper and bizarre sounding - which, although a bit untraditional for mince, is quite refreshing - and they're still raging as fuck. Exogorth will definitely a band to keep your eye on if you appreciate mince and weirdness.
Noituus is a noisy drum and bass crasher crust / d-beat band from Turku; Melanocetus Murrayi is a noisecore band from Greece; Praia De Vômito was a political noisecore band from Brazil. Three amazingly noisy and old-school bands doing punk and grind the right way on this CD-R.
Accidental Homicide is a mincegrind band from Lima, Ohio. They're playing some straightforward goofy and fucking heavy mince, and presumably comprise members of Lima grindcore saviors, Pizza Hi-Five. Axe-A-Dental is their first demo tape ever, not sure if there's any physical copies left but you can digitally buy the demo as well from their bandcamp page that I linked above if you're feeling generous.
Couple Skate - a fabulous mincegore band also from Ohio who no longer exists - and this definitely becomes evident while listening to Garett Wolf, as the goregrind and mincecore 'influences' are certainly there. Noiseography compiles everything done by the band up until now.
Bowel Fetus is a goregrind band from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and Biocyst is a one-man gorenoise band from the Netherlands. Other than goregrind, Bowel Fetus play an interesting and very well done mixture of sludge and old-school death metal; the end result is somewhat similar to Bile / Skullhog but they've definitely got a sound of their own and I personally may even prefer it. For those that don't know, Biocyst is one of the many gore-soaked projects of the Dutch, Marc Palmen, whose played in Last Days Of Humanity, Faces Of Gore, Urine Festival, Fece-Vomitatie and who also runs two record labels: Through The Eyes Of The Hated Records and Klysma Records. His project Biocyst is straight-up ear torturing brutality; no breaks, no filler, just a pile of unrelenting, noisy as fuck and drum-machine driven goregrind.

Chest Pain are a crushing powerviolence band from Austin, Texas. They're definitely recognizable as being in the vein of early westcoast traditions of the genre, but have obvious modern tinges to their noise. This will be their first ever tour, which will commence during June and a little bit of July. If you consider yourself a fan of real fucking powerviolence, you must check these guys out, they will not disappoint. Tour flyer will come soon, dates subject to change.

Violent Restitution - formally known as Degenerative Myelopathy and now, the album / song title by Razor - are a heavy as fuck 3-piece mincegrind band from Vancouver, B.C., Canada. They're female-fronted and have a female guitarist, which is awesome and sadly, not something you see too much of the grind scene these days. Still a relatively new band - although they've been gigging quite a bit in B.C. - this will be be the first ever tour for the band, and I'm personally ecstatic that they've book as many dates for themselves as they have; my hope is that more people get into them after this tour, as they fucking rule. Anyway, one and a half months is plenty amount of time for you, the grinding fan, to go out and check out a ridiculously fantastic band, so I really really recommend you fucking DO IT! Dates are obviously subject to some change.

Pizza Hi-Five a humorously pummeling mincegrind band from Lima, Ohio, USA. They're certainly no newbies to touring, gigging or other grinding actives - namely, making people's ears bleed - for the past 2-3 years. I believe some of these dates were supposed to have been with Agitate, Six Brew Bantha and more were supposed to have been with Lt. Dan, but with Six Brew Bantha's van troubles, I assume shit got reorganized as such. Anyway, if you love grindcore and pizza, I highly suggest you checkout one of these dates.

Misanthropic Noise is a crusty and absolutely devastating grindcore / mincecore band from Hartford, Connecticut / Oakland, California, USA and Gowl is a noisy and pissed off grindcore / mincecore band from Tolland, Connecticut, USA. This will not be the first tour for Misanthropic Noise nor Gowl, however this is probably one of the best tour pairings in the States that I've seen in a while; both bands present utter audible savagery and will leave you as a corpse with incredibly bad tinnitus after they play your lame-ass town.
I'm not going to try any harder to convince you to go see them, as their recordings speak for themselves. Dates obviously subject to change and please contact either band at their respective fartbook pages linked above if you can be of help in booking any of the not yet certain dates.

Rape Revenge are a XVX (vegan straight edge), queer and feminist 4-piece hardcore / powerviolence band from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They're sound on this release mixes raging, spastic but not at all goofy powerviolence with very prevalent layers of modern hardcore (such as Converge and maybe a little Integrity) with strong hints of screamo (not going to namedrop because I know nothing about screamo). Since this EP, the band has gone more for a straight up pummeling as fuck powerviolence sound - the first example of which being their 'Paper Cage' EP on To Live A Lie Records which, honestly, I am far more fond of.
Anyway, I hope this post introduces many new people to the band, because they're lovely and dedicated people who play intensely raging music and to be honest, lyrically and thematically they're probably my top pick of any band in Canada for the past while. I'm personally really happy to have had to opportunity to open for them two years ago in Toronto. Anyway, here's what was their first release ever; a self-titled 7" EP released in 2010.
Terrorismo Musical is a crustgrind / mincecore band from somewhere in Greece. Formed in 2005 - and consistently active since their formation - these souvlaki grinders are surprisingly playing some of the most 'authentic' sounding noise that rarely surfaces these days in the scene. And when I say authentic, I guess what I'm trying to say is that the sound is carefully detailed around borrowing from their influences, but not to the point where it's a distasteful rip-off, like many failed bands out there. Anyway, this is some devastating, intensive and yet humorous grind and really, with a band who took their name from a Warsore EP, would you expect anything other than great quality grinding? I definitely look forward to hearing more from them. Members also play in other great Greek bands - which you can all read about HERE such as Melanocetus Murrayi, Go Filth Go, Raw Noise Apes and I think some may even be involved with the almighty grind label / distro, Septic Aroma Of Reeking Stench. Paranoia Collectiva was their first ever demo CD-R and was self-released in 2005.

Black Witchery is a war metal band from Winter Springs, Florida, USA and Conqueror were a war metal band from Victoria, B.C., Canada. This record could pretty much be considered an extreme metal classic of the 2000s by now, more so probably because at the time it was released both bands were hardly known and yet, they're now both likely considered to be the blasphemous fiends responsible for carrying over Blasphemy and Beherit early 1990s era black/death metal over into the 2000s. Black Witchery play a very standard and I may even say far more simplistically recycled - to the point where it's almost pointless - breed of the genre than that of their above mentioned precursors, but nonetheless are always enjoyable and deliver the ghoulish assault. Conqueror, on the other hand, are really the reason why I posted this record; they brought the war metal brand of the black/death metal genre to a further level of utter intensive and furious chaos. Not for the faint of heart, the recordings are quite noisy and lo-fi, based heavily in incredibly fast tempos and to me, remain THE most barbaric band of the micro-genre - yes, even out blasphemizing the mighty Blasphemy - or even in extreme music in general. If you've ever wanted to hear grindcore's insanely blasphemous and barbaric cousin, you might want to try this band called Conqueror.
